Premier partners with Land O’Lakes to showcase Southern Indiana Producers
October 9, 2014Wilson to represent Premier Ag, Southern Indiana growers on Precision Farming Panel
October 13, 2014With snow days upon us, now is the time to make sure you and your home are ready for the winter months.
Last year, the Midwest experienced one of the coldest winters on record, which put a significant strain on the propane home heat industry. The cold weather led to reduced supplies and skyrocketing propane prices, raising a gallon of the liquid heating fuel from just over $2 to as much as $5.
Because of careful planning, Premier Energy was not forced to enforce Propane limitations on its customers last year. We have worked even harder with our suppliers this year to build up our strategic propane reserves so that our customers can count on us for home heat no matter the conditions.
To make sure you are ready for the 2014-2015 winter, we recommend the following tips:
- Heat system check – Contact a licensed heating professional in your area to have your heat system checked. This will ensure that your heating system is prepared to keep your home warm this winter.
- Full tank – Make sure your supply tank is filled and ready for the heating season. Scheduled delivery accounts should be automatically filled.
- Delivery program – If possible, sign up for our delivery program. Scheduled deliveries can help you save money by avoiding extra delivery fees and costs associated with run outs and call-ins. our winter heating costs
