13 Years of Fueling the Cure

Cancer is among the leading causes of death worldwide, with approximately 606,520 deaths each year from the disease. Premier Energy is proud to do our part in making a difference by participating in Fueling the Cure, where $1 per delivery of bulk propane is donated to promote cancer research and prevention. All donations from the program go to The Cooperatives for Fueling the Cure Endowment Fund at The Ohio State University Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.

Premier Energy has participated in Fueling the Cure since it was established in 2009. The program has seen success over the years because of the joint efforts of four cooperatives in Indiana and Ohio: United Landmark, Sunrise, Heritage Cooperative, and Premier Energy. Since its establishment, the program has raised $1,746,680.45 and counting to help “fuel the cure,” and better our communities through cancer research.

In just the last year, Premier Energy was able to donate $32,400 to the cause, with the total donation amount from all cooperatives equalling $212,917.45. We look forward to continuing in our support of cancer research and prevention for years to come through this wonderful campaign.
