EP 58: Robotic Sprayer, Crop Identification & Solinftec

This six-foot fully-autonomous Solix robot might draw a crowd next year, especially if you slap a deer stand on it! On this episode of The High Ground, powered by Premier Companies, Sal Sama and Ryan Priest are joined in the studio by Taylor Wetli who is the U.S. Sales and Business Development Manager at Solinftec. Taylor grew up on a farm in Indiana and has always had an interest in agriculture technology. For the last four years, he’s been working for Solinftec, a high tech company focused on building technology for agriculture.

You’ll learn more about Solinftec’s ability to be utilized as an asset management tool for an entire fleet to be able to get across the most acres. You’ll also hear about the Solix spray robots that Premier has coming from Solinftec in 2023 and how those solar powered robots are able to scout and detect weeds and apply the spray in those locations at the same time.
