September 27, 2023As we approach harvest, we are excited to share more about a program that we believe can significantly benefit your farming operations – the Supply Shed Benefits program by Truterra.
What is the Supply Shed Benefits Program?
The Supply Shed Benefits program, offered through Truterra, is designed to provide support and incentives to farmers who have implemented specific practices in their 2023 corn fields. This program is now open for enrollment and will remain so until November 1, 2023.
The best part? It is a hassle-free opportunity for you to earn extra income without making any significant practice changes or enduring ongoing data reporting requirements.
Eligibility and Payment Details
To be eligible for the program, you must have corn fields in crop year 2023 where you implemented one or more of the following practices:
- Implemented Strip-till or No-till
- And/Or Added Cover Crops
The good news is that even if you’ve already implemented just one of these practices, you’re eligible to participate. After successfully completing the program, you’ll receive a payment of $5.00 per acre. While this might not sound like a fortune, these payments can quickly add up and make a meaningful difference in your bottom line.

If you’ve previously completed the survey, you’ve likely received an invitation to My Portal, where we’ll upload your boundaries and determine eligibility. If you have a MyPortal account, we can expedite the process from there.
