Premier Companies Announces Ben Hoene as Incoming CEO February 10, 2026
SEYMOUR, Ind. – Premier Companies has announced that Ben Hoene will become the cooperative’s next Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, effective March 30, 2026. Hoene succeeds longtime CEO Harold Cooper, who will retire following a transition period.
Hoene brings nearly 30 years of cooperative experience, beginning his career with Jackson‑Jennings Co‑op in 1996 and advancing through multiple roles within Premier’s Energy Division. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Energy. The Board selected Hoene for his proven leadership, operational expertise, and strong commitment to cooperative values.
The Board also recognized Harold Cooper for nearly five decades of service to the cooperative system and Indiana agriculture. His leadership and vision have positioned Premier for long‑term success.
Hoene and Cooper, who have worked together for nearly 20 years, will collaborate closely to ensure a smooth transition. Premier’s Board expressed confidence that Hoene will continue to lead the cooperative with integrity, vision, and a steadfast focus on serving member‑owners.
