Introducing the Bushel App by Premier Agriculture

The Premier Grain Division is proud to announce our Bushel App is now live! This app allows our customers to have instant access to their grain data from the convenience of their mobile phone and through their web portal. All you will need is to link your mobile phone number to your Premier Ag account and you will be all set!

The Premier Ag Bushel App works for all current Premier Ag Grain locations:

The new app can be downloaded via the App Store for Apple users or the Google Play Store for Android users. Once downloaded, the customer will be guided to enter their phone number in order to log into their personalized dashboard. They will then get a verification code sent to them via text. Once the verification is entered, the customer will have access to all their information.

Please note: on the first login attempt, it can take 15 minutes or so before their data populates. After the initial login, all data is live and updated within minutes of the data being entered into our billing system.

We interviewed the Premier Grain Division to learn a little more about the app and how this will serve Premier Customers…

Q: Can you share more about how this app came to be?

PGD: We started to kick around the idea for an easy-to-use and information-rich app around the time White River merged with Premier back in the fall of 2021.

We were initially trying to find a way to provide the cash prices and mass communication to our customers in a reliable and non-invasive way. From there, it morphed into wanting to provide easy mobile access to live information regarding contract balances, tickets, settlements, and more. While we were at it, we also made it possible to provide access to prepaid booking information for energy and agronomy. We wanted to make it easy for our customers to access their information no matter where they were, or what time it was in the day.

Q: What do you think the biggest impact is for Premier customers when they utilize this app?

PGD: I would say efficiency. Customers don’t have to stop what they are doing during the day to sit down and pick up a phone, or spend hours at their office computer rummaging through tickets. All they have to do is login into the app, or the web portal, and they can find all their information in a clean and orderly manner.

Q: What is your favorite feature of the app?

PGD: There are so many it is hard to pick just one, but with it being towards the end of the tax year, I would choose the tickets feature. The feature allows customers to see all the different loads they delivered. It also gives a summary by commodity that can be exported, which is really handy when talking to their accountants. Providing accurate information to their accountants has never been easier.

Q: Are there any plans to add additional features in the future?

PGD: We are just about to start promoting that customers can make offers through the app to their local elevator. This allows the customer to put in an offer, or cancel an offer, no matter what time of day. In case their Premier Grain contact is out on vacation, or the customer is super busy, this is an extremely easy way for Premier and the customer to make sure that their offers are getting the maximum amount of time to work, and hopefully turn into contracted bushels at their desired prices.
