Premier Participates in the 2022 Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity Ag Build

Did you know that in Indiana, the average hourly wage necessary to afford a two bedroom FMR unit is $14.03, and according to an Indiana 211 Partnership Community Report, over half of renters in the state cannot afford the fair market rate? That’s where Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity comes in. This organization brings the community together to help provide opportunities to purchase and own simple, quality, affordable homes for those in need. Since their founding, they have been able to provide this life-changing benefit to more than 645 local families, and look to continue increasing housing solutions in the community in the coming years.

This year, Premier Companies had the pleasure of participating in the Habitat for Humanity Ag Build, where we helped build a home onsite for a local family in need. We are a continued supporter of Habitat for Humanity, and have sponsored and participated in the Ag Build for multiple years.

This project, along with the other work that Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity is doing, does much more than simply provide a family with an affordable home. Having access to affordable housing is highly important when it comes to quality of life, and has positive effects on the health of the family, education for children, and the economic prosperity of the community in which they live. This year alone, this organization is on track to help 24 families improve their living conditions, and we take pride in being a sponsor of the 2022 Ag Build!
